Technical Assembly/ Awning Fabricator

Brookvale location
Monday - Friday + OT in busy periods
Full-time position for the right candidate 

ABOUT HELIOSCREEN:
Helioscreen is Australia’s leading manufacturer of blinds and awnings supplying products to an extensive wholesale network across Australia and New Zealand.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for an experienced technical assembly worker in our awning department due to growing sales. The role involves manufacturing retractable awnings & possibly other window furnishings products as required. Experience in a similar roll is a big advantage.
Your role would include:
Manufacturing custom made retractable awnings
Ensuring orders are manufactured in a timely manner
Manufacturing high quality products in accordance with order details 
Use of hand and power tools
Cutting of aluminium profiles
Technical assembly of components 
Maintaining stock levels 
Some heavy lifting
Quality control of orders
Inspecting, labelling and packing orders

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Must be fit and reliable 
Experience in technical assembly role is necessary
Experience in manufacturing awnings or blinds would be an advantage
Requires attention to detail
Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently
Must be mechanically minded
Experience using hand and power tools
Have reliable transport
Have full working rights in Australia (no students or working holiday visa’s)
