Casual to permanent position, approximately 10 hours per week. A family with two school children (ages 7 and 10) , living in New Farm, Brisbane is looking for a honest, mature and reliable babysitter / mother’s help . Our current babysitter who has been working for us is moving to Gold Coast . Family has had Japanese au- pairs for three years while children were younger (references available on request ).

Hours include two mornings 7 am - 9 am,(days can be negotiated) and two afternoons , one of them Wednesday afternoon 5 pm to 8 pm.

Duties include helping children to get ready for school in the morning (breakfast, preparing lunch box), and taking children to school, 5 -10 minute walk ). In the afternoon- picking children up from school/after school care, and some light home duties , eg folding clean clothes, tidying up kitchen etc, as per family needs . Family has a regular cleaner .

We offer a warm and caring environment , very friendly children , opportunity to improve English , and we are close to public transport (bus stops are 5 minute walk from the house ). Position would suit a warm, caring and fun loving person who enjoys working with children and has a mature attitude . Previous experience working with children would be an advantage . We pay hourly rate of $20 per hour .
