Scenic GC Toursis a new day tour operator offering truly scenic local half day tours of the Gold Coast, which combine a natural and cultural experience, via short walks (bush walks through natural parks, conservation parks, rainforest and reserves), offering picturesque views of the Gold Coast.

As a Japanese Speaking Driver guide, you are available to start learning the ropes immediately, will be a great conversationalist, fun, personable and always willing to go the extra mile for our customers. A high work ethic is essential for this role and our reputation. You responsibilities are, but are not limited to:

- Safely drive our customers from the point of pick up to drop pff
- Entertain & communicate with customers
- Provide local knowledge of tourist sites and hinterland areas, including cultural and ecological information
- Stick to a strict schedule

The candidate must have:

- Fluency in the Japanese and at a good conversational English
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong social skills and a positive attitude
- Excellent driving skills, including experience driving large vehicles
- Time management / organisation skills
- Available to work Friday, weekends and Monday (morning or afternoons)
- Previous tour guide experience would be preferred, but not essential
- Knowledge of Gold Coast local sites, particularly Spring Brook National Park; ecological knowledge preferred, not essential
- Current QLD Drivers Authorization license (police history check required) or willing to obtain at own expense.
