$31.94 per hour Saturday, 
$37.26 per hour Sunday

About the role:
You will be required to deliver excellent food to the highest possible standard. You will make sushi and sashimi and perform live cooking in our Award Winning Hatsuhana Japanese restaurant while maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic work area.

Duties:
• Sushi and sashimi making 
• Exceptional showmanship, as the teppanyaki tables are a highlight of the restaurant 
• Familiar with sushi, sashimi and teppanyaki preparations involving rice, noodles, fish, meats and desserts 
• Mise en place and food service for production area

Skills and Experience:
• Strong knowledge of Asian cooking techniques including sushi, sashimi and teppanyaki-style cooking philosophies and principles 
• Ability to prepare all mise en place including starches, vegetables, trimming and cutting of proteins 
• Vast sushi / sashimi making experience and knowledge
• Must have a professional appearance and go``od hygiene
• Japanese speaking and good command of English Language
