We are looking for a great Cook for an immediate start at our child care centre. Ideally we are looking for someone who is passionate about food and can support the health and wellbeing of the children through providing a nutritious and healthy menu for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for the children and staff at the Centre. 

Duties & Responsibilities

Work as part of a friendly and supportive team
Manage the daily requirements of the kitchen
Ensure children with special dietary requirements and children with allergies are catered for
Order food supplies in consultation with the Director

Skills & Experience Required

A passion for cooking and nutrition
Ability to make the food inviting and creative for the children
A positive Blue Card notice or be able to apply for one
Nutritional planning and food handling qualifications
Food Safety Supervisor certificate
Experience cooking in Early Learning/ Childcare Centre's or similar environments
