New Premium Japanese Sushi Bar with 30 seat capacity opening in Port Melbourne in July/August 2022.
Head chef/director is Martin Kim who has 20 years experience in Japanese Cuisine in premium Japanese restaurants.

The restaurant is located close to the foreshore, right in the middle of Bay St amongst a variety of pubs, bars, restaurants, cafés, and retail stores.

Access to the restaurant from the CBD is easy. There are several options by tram and bus, so it only takes 15 minutes travel on public transport from the Melbourne CBD. 5-10 minute drive by car from the Melbourne CBD.

Looking for waiting/managing staff member with a positive attitude and strong customer service skills. 3 years front of house experience preferred. Must have RSA and some knowledge of wine/sake.

Duties include: Bookings, reception, cashier, payments, customer service, cleaning, ordering beverages.

Looking for an assistant chef (cook) with a positive attitude and wanting an opportunity to learn how to make authentic Japanese sushi. Applicant needs to be proficient in the kitchen. 3 years experience in a premium restaurant preferred.

Duties include: Roll making, food preparation, food and beverage orders, customer service at the sushi bar, HACCP..

Wage between $25.412-30 per hour depending on skill and experience. Casual to begin, but full time opportunity may become available.
