Assistant Store Manager

Our client is looking for an Assistant Store Manager for their store in Paddington. We are looking for a person who has experience in retail, speaks English fluently and has permanent working visa. It is a part time position, mainly weekends to begin with but will hopefully become a full-time as sales picks up.

Qualifications & Experiences:
・Fluent in Japanese on speaking, listening and writing
・Fluent in English on speaking, listening and writing
・Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
・Requires Permanent working Visa in Australia
・Visual Merchandising experience and Graphic design skills is advantageous
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
・Attending to customer needs, including fulfilling in-store and online purchases.
・Ensures that wholesale orders get sent out on time by collaborating with our wholesale team.
・Operates our monogram machine and makes sure it's always working.
・Managing store staff by scheduling, recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
・Makes sure the store is always in prime condition with restocked merchandise.
・Ensures availability of merchandise and services by maintaining inventories.
・Providing a safe and clean store environment.
・Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
They see that you have previous experience in a retail environment and a confident communicator. With a customer centric mindset, you will mirror our brand and have a natural ability to inspire others. As a start it will primarily require availability weekends, and you should be comfortable working alone in the store, but this position will grow with you and it will most certainly become a full time position.
This is a part time position which may become a full time position in the future.
